Terms of use
Updated on October 19, 2026
Draft under legal review. Highlighted passages are still to be completed. The French version prevails.
1.Purpose
These terms govern the use of the desk-fi.com website and the Desk. service (« Desk »), which helps prepare markets interviews from a CV and the offers aimed for: CV assessment, offer analysis, fiches, question bank, spaced reviews, mental maths and mock interviews.
Using Desk means accepting these terms. Purchases of Desk Pro are also governed by the terms of sale.
2.Access and account
Part of Desk is open without an account (home page, public library, trial). The rest requires an account, created with Google or with a sign-in link sent by email.
Your account is personal. You agree to give a valid email address, not to share your access and to tell us about any unauthorised use. Desk is meant for people aged 15 and over.
3.What the AI does, and does not do
Some features (CV assessment, offer analysis, mock interview, text translation) use artificial intelligence models. Their results are preparation aids: they may contain mistakes and replace neither a recruiter nor professional advice.
Learning content (fiches, questions, cases) is written and reviewed by the Desk team; the AI refers to it without inventing any. Desk guarantees neither an interview nor a job, and gives no investment advice.
4.Content and licence
Desk grants you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the service and its content for your own preparation, for as long as you have access.
You may not copy, bulk-extract, resell or republish the content, automate access to the service (bots, scraping), bypass usage limits or security measures, or use Desk to train an AI model.
5.What you upload
You keep ownership of your CV, your offers and your answers. You allow us to process them to provide the service, as set out in the privacy policy. Your CV's PDF file is never kept: only its text is analysed.
You agree to upload only content you have the right to use and that does not infringe anyone's rights.
6.Availability
Desk is provided as is, while under construction. We do our best to keep it available and accurate, without being able to guarantee it free of interruptions or mistakes. Features may change, be added or be removed.
7.Liability
Desk cannot be held liable for decisions made on the basis of its content or results, nor for indirect damage arising from the use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives consumers.
8.Suspension and termination
You can delete your account at any time from the Account page: your data is then erased, except what the law requires us to keep (payments).
In case of a serious breach of these terms, Desk may suspend or close an account, after telling you by email except in an emergency.
9.Changes
These terms may change. Any significant change will be announced by email or in the service before it takes effect.
10.Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first; failing that, the competent courts are those set by law. Contact: [TO COMPLETE: contact email].
